Infosec Compliance Implementation challenges - Part 3

Having understood the sticky areas and how-to handle them I.e. people, process and technology infrastructure, in part one and two of this series, we now move on to learn on how to proceed to solve the most pressing problem: The reluctance to change by people.

Preparing and equipping people to embrace change is one of the most difficult challenge to overcome during any compliance implementation or change exercise. Since people often are the weakest link in security, executing it right way matters a lot.

We shall look into various factors which will help us to understand the psychology behind a human mind and why people develop resistance towards embracing any change in their lives.

Once understood, we shall look into the techniques which will aid us to provide us tools to crack open the toughest nut in our journey; which is how to overcome the end user resistance towards change.
