Abstract
With the advancement in low power devices and wearables which uses Bluetooth Low energy and Nordic SoC(nrf51) is the best in the class for such devices. As a security feature,Nordic Bluetooth SoC do offer protection by locking the read and write operation into the device’s flash memory(place where the entire firmware resides). This talk will explain you the flaw in the hardware block and use it to extract the original firmware even if the hardware flash security is enabled.
