MoM By K.V. Prashant

I think we had a wonderful meet this time & i suppose each one of 30+ audience went out from the room with a sense of learning & accomplishment.  Tamaghna lived upto his celebrity status and delivered an awesome session. Session from Manjunath actually set the tone. Newsbytes from Anish & Hiren added the required masala. Overall it was a day worth attending and we will remember those 3 hours & 45mins for long time.

Introduction to Webgoat – A deliberately insecure J2EE Web Application from OWASP by Sundar
WebGoat is a deliberately insecure J2EE web application maintained by OWSAP designed to teach web application security lessons. In each lesson, users must demonstrate their understanding of a security issue by exploiting a real vulnerability in the WebGoat application. For example, in one of the lessons the user must use SQL Injection to steal fake credit card numbers. The application is a realistic teaching environment, providing users with hints and code to further explain the lesson.
